I thought I would share with you the news that I heard regarding a further relief to our Home Owners Grant for Property Taxes. What does this mean for you? If you are under 65, currently your Home Owners Grant is $570! Effective tax season of 2011, you will receive a further $200reduction which means that you will have a grant of $770. If you are over 65, your will have a grant effective 2011 of $1,045. This is great news. This reduction is not applicable to those who reside in the Capital, Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley regional districts.
